The women who protect the mission and help it grow.
IT Girls is guided by women who believe girls deserve more than encouragement. They deserve consistent opportunities, responsible leadership, and a community prepared to invest in their future.
A board making sure the mission can keep showing up.
Our board members provides the stewardship, accountability, and long-term thinking that help IT Girls serve girls ages 10–18 in Texas.
Together, they safeguard the purpose behind our programs, strengthen relationships throughout the community, and help turn a powerful vision into experiences girls can depend on.

Every decision comes back to one question: what will help her grow?
Good leadership keeps the mission clear even as the organization grows. Our board helps ensure that every partnership, program, and investment moves IT Girls closer to its purpose: empowering, educating, inspiring, and supporting girls as they discover who they are becoming.
How we lead
Purpose in every decision.
Responsible Stewardship
We treat every donation, partnership, and opportunity as a commitment to the girls and families who trust us.
Community Connection
Our board helps IT Girls remain responsive to the girls, families, schools, professionals, and communities we serve across Texas.
Long-Term Vision
We are building more than individual events. We are creating relationships, experiences, and systems that girls can continue returning to as they grow.
Founded in 2016
The mission began with girls in one room. The board helps carry it forward.
IT Girls began with the conviction that girls should have access to mentors, meaningful experiences, and spaces where their ideas are taken seriously.
Today, the board helps protect that original purpose while preparing the organization to reach more girls, strengthen its programs, and build sustainable partnerships across Texas.
Stand with IT Girls
The board helps hold the vision. The community helps make it possible.
There are many ways to help a girl see more for herself. Support a program, become a mentor, introduce girls to your workplace, or invest in experiences that allow them to practice leadership before adulthood asks it of them.
Girls don’t need a perfect role model. They need a trusted woman who listens, encourages them, and returns. Commit approximately six hours a month to support girls throughout the program year.
